About WorkOnFitness
WorkOnFitness is an exercise and training library run by Ransh Innovations. Each exercise has its own guide, from a first bodyweight squat to an advanced Olympic lift, with clear steps, common mistakes, the muscles it works and an easier and a harder version.
What you’ll find here
- Exercise guides. An extensive library covering the main kinds of training: strength work with free weights, machines and bodyweight, cardio, high-intensity intervals, yoga, Pilates, mobility and stretching, balance, martial arts, sport drills, breathwork and more. How to read an exercise guide walks through what each one contains.
- A way to find your level. Every guide links an easier and a harder version of the exercise and says why each one is easier or harder, so you can start where you are and see the next step.
- Training theory. Articles that explain why training methods work, from progressive overload to interval training, and how a program is put together.
- Everyday fitness questions. Plain answers on what fitness is, how to start and how to keep going, from what fitness actually is to starting from zero.
- Training with someone else. Partner workouts for couples, built around Working Out Together, and partner games and contests for friends, built around Training With a Friend.
Why it exists
Many people want to exercise but don’t feel sure enough to decide what to do. Some can’t find clear information. Others find plans that don’t fit their goals, their level or the time they have. WorkOnFitness gives them clear, practical information so they can make that decision for themselves and keep going.
Our founder, Shubham Singal, built it after running into those same problems while training for sport, coming back after years away and fitting fitness around work and study. The full story is in Why I Built WorkOnFitness. Who WorkOnFitness is for explains who the site is written for, and what makes WorkOnFitness different sets out what you get here.
How we write
- Plain language first, with the precise term next to the everyday word, so the same guide works for a beginner and for someone with years of training.
- Information that helps you choose, with no selling and no pressure.
- Fitness as what your body can do, not how it looks.
- No promises of quick results. Every guide starts from where you are now.
The ideas behind these are set out in our principles.
Who runs it
WorkOnFitness is built by Ransh Innovations, a product company that builds and runs its own products in sports, education, gaming, defense and AI. Its sports products also include A Wise Athlete, which offers structured coaching and training guidance for athletes. If you train for a sport, the two sites work well together.
